About Us

The History of Castle Fine Arts, Inc.

Castle Fine Arts, Inc., has been an active fine arts firm for over 40 years, specializing in 18th - 20th century Japanese woodblock prints. We opened our doors in 1977, as The Asian Collector Gallery in Hong Kong. Relocating to San Francisco in 1992, Frank Castle established CFA in the main gallery of the historic art deco inspired 450 Sutter Street building. With our inventory expanding and improving access to clients through e-commerce, CFA is now operating exclusively online from our location in Sacramento, California.

CFA is a member of the Ukiyo-e Dealers Association of Japan; the Connoisseurs` Council of The Asian Art Museum, and the Achenbach Graphic Arts Council, both in San Francisco. Since 1999, Castle Fine Arts, Inc. has been represented on the well-known television show, The Antiques Roadshow on PBS.
