Notes: Stamped on the reverse, "Made in Japan". Red "Hasui" seal in lower right corner. Still tipped to the original folder and never displayed. The seldom seen purplish-pink color state.
The Hasui 'postcard' prints were first marketed in the 1931 S. Watanabe sales catalog. Some of the designs are clearly derived from earlier oversized compositions, whereas others seem to have only been created specially as small format prints. (Hotei V.1 pg. 136)
