Charles Bartlett, Hawaiian Mother and Child (Etching)

Notes: EXCEEDINGLY RARE. Signed and numbered in graphite by the artist. "CWB" monogram and title in plate. This sensitive depiction of a mother holding her child was completed by Bartlett after the loss of his first wife and infant son during childbirth. As stated by Miles, "The rare and rarely seen hand-colored etchings can now take their deserved place as Bartlett's collective masterwork".
