Notes: The other image in Hotei Catalog (Hotei #49a), is a later state; published with large margins and on heavier paper. Narazaki notes: "The rendition of a spring shower that creates a vague outline of pines along the water-line is a unique trait in Hasui's work." Commissioned by the Mitsubishi Company as a set of eight prints. The prints illustrate the Iwasaki family's Kiyosumi detached villa and garden at Fukagawa in eastern Tokyo.
