Hiroshige, Tsukuda-jima, Shuhhozu – Original Painting

Notes: A rare and superbly executed original painting depicting a sailboat near Tsukuda Island. Signed: Hiroshige, with artist red chop. Accompanied with the original signed/titled box and cherry wood presentation box. Junks were often depicted throughout the artist's career; especially in the series, "60-odd Provinces". Large exhibition paintings by Hiroshige are scarce to locate on the open market.
