The artist states that a total of 6 blocks and 29 separate impressions were used. EARLIEST STATE WITH LARGE, RED JIZURI SEAL IN UPPER LEFT MARGIN. PROVENANCE: From the estate of a Japanese collector who began collecting directly from the artist, then his family, c.1948.
