Yoshida, Hiroshi (1876 – 1950), “Yamanaka Lake”

Notes: Brush signed & sealed by the artist. Embossed signature seals in lower left margin, instead of jizuri seal. Yoshida states that 10 blocks & 47 impressions were used to obtain the superb "Bokashi" (gradations). AN IMPORTANT AND RARE, OVERSIZE PRINT. The Yoshida family has stated that Hiroshi printed only about 50 examples of most of the oversize works, including this design. Provenance: The Hiroshi Yoshida Family.
