Notes: A rare pre-earthquake design with S. Watanabe publisher's ogi-fan shaped black cartouche seal, "42" in Kanji. Stamped on the reverse, "Made in Japan".

A farmer and his boy cross over a bridge, while the silhouette of a temple is looming against the evening sunset.

The size of the woodblock print was the result of trying to control costs during the period. In those days, as many single printable sheets were created from the papermaker's larger sheet and thus were published without margins.
