Notes: This state displays a dark green hue throughout the design.
Narazaki states that, 'The darkness of night envelopes the Hall of the golden hue (Konjikido) - a tranquil scene of a starry night. The work is well composed and one worthy of note. There is a fine contrast between the dark blue sky punctuated by a single star and the pale 'antiquated' feel of the scenery's color scheme. Hasui passed away before he completed a similar piece [H613]. In this later work, 'Hall of the golden hue, Hiraizumi', the lone figure of an itinerant monk ascending the stone stairs is added. However, this piece was sketched on 13 September 1934, produced on 16 November that year and published in October 1935'. - Hotei Vol. 1 pg. 97
