Notes: In Narazaki's opinion, 'This work was designed with an interest in the shadows, here cast on the flagstones of the stone temple path and steps. It is a complex composition, the pillars and the corridor in the curvilinear nagarezukuri architectural style elevated, the spring sky seen in the distance between the building and the bell tower'. - Hotei Vol. 1; pg. 90
Provenance: From a private collection. For the past 30 years the prints were properly stored away; never being framed or displayed. The majority of the collection showcases rarely seen MINT colors; several far exceeding numerous examples seen in prior collections.
