Notes: SCARCE First Edition. One of a small number of Hasui designs published by Isetatsu. Majority are found in the later editions with missing chops/seals/stamp.
From 1925 to 1926 Hasui produced just five designs for Isetatsu (Hirose Tatsugoro), a Tokyo firm established in 1864 that specialized in the production of chiyogami (a type of decorative paper). Each of the Hasui prints by Isetatsu were paired with five designs of beautiful women by Ito Shinsui. The print title and publisher's name appear in the bottom margin of the Hasui examples.
