"Shikishiban (square format prints) fan prints issued by Kato for the Haibara paper shop: In 1935 the Tokyo publisher Kato Junji acquired the rights to produce a series of twelve prints, originally designed by Hasui for the Haibara paper shop under the title Hasui uchiwa-e junikei (Twelve views of fan prints by Hasui). The Kato series was printed in a limited edition of 300 in the square shikishiban format and sold in a fan-shaped mat. The block-cutter for the Kato series was Nagashima Michio II and the printer Takahashi Harumasa IV." - Hotei Vol. 1; pg. 106
