In 1928, Hiroshi concentrated on making ten small woodblock prints, all approximately the same (chuban) size. Except for two prints of Japanese landscapes, the works all show scenes from Europe or the United States. By the late 1920s, Hiroshi had made three journeys overseas, and he undoubtedly based the 1928 prints on sketches he had made during those travels abroad.
