"White Plum in the Farmyard, the peak of a roof gable rises up and over a tree limb bearing small white blossoms. The subject is abbreviated, the suggestion expansive. Tints of brown and tan applied as flat areas - enhanced with tone on tone patterns - provide a quiet background for the new buds. The scene is fresh, bright, and still rustic." - Nature, Art, and Peace; pg. 57
Provenance: From a private East Coast collection. For the past 25 years the prints were properly stored away, with many removed from their original studio folders.
