Notes: Narazaki notes, 'A man is dressed in a full-length coat and holds an umbrella as he walks across newly fallen snow. The vermilion-lacquered corridor of the Tenno Temple stands somewhat apart, the Kondo (golden or main hall) is superimposed over the five-story pagoda. Both hall and pagoda tower against the cold, snowy sky. Three layers of Bokashi (tonal gradation) are skillfully executed and are effective in contributing to the mood of the work'.
ONE OF THE ARTIST'S MOST SOUGHT-AFTER VERTICAL SNOW SCENES.
