Notes: First state, with S. Watanabe square "B" Seal. Narazaki noted that this works is, "An unusual scene of a lakeside shrine. In this work, the blizzard raging across the tranquil lake; the distant mountains; the dark snowy sky; the water, as if dyed a deep color; and the bare, snow-laden trees are all individual traits of Hasui." Lake Tazawa is located in Akita Prefecture.
