Hasui, Kawase (1883 – 1957), “Saisho Temple, Hirosaki”

Notes: Displays much stronger colors then the example shown in Hotei. As Narazaki describes: 'Situated in a cypress forest, the vermilion five-story pagoda is a fitting subject for a silver-white snowscape'. A highly desirable 1930's Hasui snow scene; majority are found faded or in the later 6 mm edition.
