Yoshida, Hiroshi (1876 – 1950), “Fujiyama from Okitsu”

Notes: Titled and signed in pencil by the artist. Brush signed and sealed by the artist. Black jizuri seal in upper left margin. The artist notes in his 1939 book, "Japanese Wood-Block Printing", that he used 10 blocks and 57 impressions in order to capture the many gradations in this print. He also states under "Special Features, "Goma-zuri, or granular effect; ho-wood for two color blocks".
