The Diamond Mountains series in different seasons and times of the day, centers on a design of two rocky peaks likely derived from a photograph Miller took from one of her favorite spots in the area. Upon the basic structure, Miller overprints different color blocks for each variation, while exploring the dramatic formal effects achievable by radical simplifications of subject, color variation and blunt block carving.
