Notes:

First state impression, with the red Bijutsusha "rumi" seal. Removed from original folder; never framed or displayed. Japan's oldest extant donjon - dating to around 1600 - is perched on a hill overlooking the Kiso river in Inuyama Aichi prefecture.

In the late 1920s, The Bijutsusha firm released the series entitled, "Collection of Ukiyo-e Designs", which contained eight landscape prints by Hasui. According to Narazaki, this set was issued by the Bijutsusha firm in Yotsuya, Tokyo.
