S. Watanabe seal in the lower right margin. Mt. Fuji and the surrounding clouds are also lightly embossed. This composition depicts a country scene in Narusawa village in late autumn.
Narusawa village is located in Yamanashi Prefecture, north of Mount Fuji. The area is known for the Narusawa Ice Cave and lava tree molds formed by 9th-century eruptions.
