RARE. Only the second time we have ever offered this large dai-oban format design. S. Watanabe "6 mm" circular seal in the lower right image.

Narazaki writes, 'A run of 50 were printed for this image on September 7th, 1954. The foreground comprises a stand of trees and rural houses, and shadows are cast on a field of snow by tree branches to the left. The print displays a bright, tranquil scene during the chill of winter; the solitary figure of an old woman has been added for detail. There has been an attempt to link this composition and color scheme with, "Clearing after a Snowfall, Yoshida" (Hotei #471), even though there was nearly a ten-year gap between the production of both designs.' - Hotei Vol. 1; pg. 130
