Towering at 1,729 meters, Mt. Daisen is the highest peak in the Chugoku region and is often referred to as “Hoki Fuji'' for its resemblance to the country’s most-famous mountain in Japan. Mt. Hoki-daisen is known for its seasonal beauty, alpine plants, and winter snow.
