Notes:
The artist's depiction of the pagoda at Honmon Temple features a striking horizontal format that bathes the five-story pagoda in deep, layered shades of midnight blue under a glowing full moon. The dense silhouettes of surrounding trees frame the structured architectural elegance of the pagoda, while evoking a meditative stillness and poetic, fleeting melancholy.
