An extremely scarce pre-quake snow design. Signed: 'Kakei', an early artist name used for T. Shotei.
"Gofun" (white pigment made from the shells of various shellfish) is used throughout the design to depict falling snow. The use of this pigment renders a distinctive matte texture.
