"Snow at Shiba Park" (1952) is a rare, specialized edition of 500 copies commissioned by the Pacific Transport Lines to be featured in a hanging promotional calendar. The print was produced by the S. Watanabe Color Print Studio for the month of January. This specific 1952 design is highly sought-after by collectors and separate from Hasui's earlier 1931 depiction of Shiba Park. The original 1952 printings only feature the artist's seal, with a distinct lower-margin English title block tailored for international calendar distribution.
