A remarkable and scarce pre-quake limited-edition work by the master of nocturnal snow designs.
Narazaki remarks: 'This work was produced in a limited-edition of one-hundred prints. A man dressed in western-style clothing walks in a blizzard and carries a western-style umbrella (this print marks the beginning of Hasui's portrayal of figures in Western dress). The image is void of pine trees or forests and includes only the old, majestic and vermilion-colored Sanmon (main gate) of the Zojo temple.
