Notes: A rare state of Hasui's Zojoji Temple, Shiba. The print is still tipped to the original black matte; as issued. This slightly smaller aiban size edition was only included in the 1934 issue of JAPAN TODAY & TOMORROW published by The Osaka Mainichi, 1934. Published by the S. Watanabe shop in Ginza, Tokyo. Narazaki states that, "This is a masterpiece within Hasui's oeuvre, and no other by him received as much praise".
