NOTES:
Notes: Pencil signed by the artist. Tsukasa Yoshida was born in 1949 and is the son of Toshi Yoshida. He became the lineal descendent within the Yoshida family for woodblock printmaking. He carried on the work of The International Yoshida Hanga Academy. When he was about twenty years old, Tsukasa began learning woodblock printmaking from his father in the studio; just like a myriad of other students. His first print, "Maple" was completed in 1968. Since then he has made over 30 prints in a variety of styles and formats. Provenance: From a private collection. For the past 30 years the prints were properly stored away; never being framed or displayed. The majority of the collection showcases rarely seen MINT colors; several far exceeding numerous examples seen in prior collections.
